Becoming a Member

If you are new to the Episcopal Church or have been away for many years, you might find a conversation with the Rector or the instructor of the Inquirers’ class helpful. Please call the office to make an appointment or submit an inquiry form below.

A person baptized in the name of the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and who participates in worship in St. John’s Parish may be a member. For details on how to transfer membership from one Christian Church to another, please contact the office.

Candidates for Holy Baptism will schedule meetings with the Rector or designated instructor. A person enters the Body of Christ, the Church, through baptism. Please call the church office to schedule an appointment with the Rector to discuss baptism or transfer of membership.
