Many People, Many Gifts will be the theme for the day. Come, see what is planned for everyone to see how easy it is to be involved and not overwhelmed with large commitments.  Come for a continental breakfast at 9 am or lunch after the 10:15 am service, and enjoy the fellowship and a program developed from I Corinthians 12:14 – “Indeed, the body does not consist of one member but of many.”  We will take the sting out of Evangelism…all in one day!  J  Please plan to come and see what is happening!

Children’s Books Wanted – Annual Community Book Drive: Saint John’s is again asking for donations of new or gently used books for children between the ages of birth and eleven.  The book drive is from August 1 to September 17, 2017. Drop off books in boxes located in Trimble Hall.  Providing books to children is a simple and effective way to promote language and literacy growth in preparing them for learning and reading. The Community Book Drive is a partnership of the Hagerstown Area Religious Council and other non-profit organizations for the benefit of local organizations, schools, and at-risk-children.

Anyone interested in Dinner for Eight? If you are interested in joining this dinner club, please contact the office.  If there is enough interest, we will start in September!

Stewardship: Christian stewardship at Saint John’s is a way of life.  The cards in the pews and throughout the church encompass more than money. Please use one to indicate where you are willing to offer your talents and time in gratitude of God's love.
