All Saints’ Day Prayers:  It is customary on All Saints’ Sunday to remember in our prayers those whom we love who have passed, especially those who have passed since our last All Saints’ observance.  Forms are available at the back of the church and the Antietam Street entrance.  Please turn in no later than Monday, October 31st.

The Service and Outreach Commission would like to sincerely "THANK YOU" for your contributions to the Bountiful Blessings Box in Trimble Hall.  Additional donations are needed.  Please contribute to our supply of toiletries, soap, shampoo, feminine hygiene products and toilet paper. These items are made available to consumers at the monthly Community Cafe. Thank you for your continued support of this outreach endeavor!

Save the date for Basket Bingo! The Service and Outreach Commission will be holding a Basket Bingo event on November 4, 6:30 PM.  Twenty five dollars ($25) will get you a delicious lasagna dinner and ten games of Bingo with a chance to win one of 10 baskets valued at $25.  Please mark your calendars! Are you Entertaining for Thanksgiving?  Let Service and Outreach Commission help you with a variety of homemade pies.  You can choose between pumpkin, apple, apple-cranberry, mincemeat, sweet potato.  More details to follow................ Thank you for supporting our outreach projects!

Van Driver Opportunity:  We have two openings for individuals on our rotation list of van drivers. Our van drivers provide  a service to those who need transportation to and from Sunday services. One is needed now and the other will be needed beginning in August.  Please contact Bob Speelman at 540-247-2482 or rwspeelman@mail.com, if you would like to become a part of this vital outreach service.

Gift Cards: The Service and Outreach Commission will be selling gift cards for Martins and Weis Grocery Markets after the 8:00 AM and 10:15 services each Sunday at the Antietam Street entrance.   The commission will receive 5% from the sales of the gift certificates.  These proceeds will be used to sponsor mission projects.    You can help Service and Outreach obtain its goals by purchasing gift cards to be used at all Martin/Weis locations.   Thank you for your patronage!
